I completed my apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter with the State Rail Authority from 1983 to 1987, gaining a strong foundation in electrical safety, fault-finding, and industrial systems. I then worked as a technician with Konica Business Machines before spending more than 35 years in the theatre industry, where safety, compliance, and attention to detail are critical in live environments. I’ve now returned to the electrical trade, bringing together decades of hands-on technical experience and real-world risk management.

I hold a TAFE Electrical Trades Certificate, a Craftsperson’s Certificate of Proficiency as an Electrical Fitter, and current Test and Tag qualifications.
